A seal pup was found stranded by Camp Cronin -- and marine wildlife experts are advising Rhode Islanders what to do in the event they find stranded seals.

Mark Hall, the founder of Biomes Marine Biology Center in North Kingstown, posted the following to Facebook on Wednesday morning.

This is the second stranded seal pup I've seen this week (this one is a harp seal). It has an injury in the chest and the seal rescue team from Mystic came for it, so hopefully it will be ok. If you see one you should call them right away at 860 572-5955 x107. The most important thing before they arrive is to keep dogs away from it.
