NEW: Former to Kennedy Aide Joins Family Service of RI

Family Service of Rhode Island, one of the oldest and largest non-profit human service agencies in Rhode Island, is pleased to announce the appointment of George A. Zainyeh to the position of Chief Strategy Officer.

We pride ourselves in recruiting and hiring the most qualified candidates and are confident that George’s skills and talents will greatly enhance our abilities to meet the demands of a rapidly changing health care and social service environment,” stated Margaret Holland McDuff, Family Service of RI’s chief executive officer.

“George will work with our team to assess the landscape to identify emerging trends and recommend programs, practices and services that challenge the status quo and allow us to better serve our community and clients.”

Most recently he was the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at The Princeton Review but is better known as Congressman Patrick Kennedy’s longtime Chief of Staff in Rhode Island. Zainyeh also is a former State Legislator and a former Advocacy Director and Cancer Control Team Leader with the American Cancer Society.

Zainyeh holds a Master’s of Science degree in Labor Relations from the University of Rhode Island. He and his family reside in Jamestown, Rhode Island.

Family Service of Rhode Island is a non-profit organization that provides a wide array of social, medical and educational services to primarily low-income children, adults and families across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut.
