Former LiteRock 105 host Tanya Cruise will plead guilty to her role in an insurance fraud scheme, according to an agreement reached with federal prosecutors.

Cruise, whose real name is Lori A. Sergiacomi, will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy and four counts of mail fraud, according to U.S. Attorney Peter Neronha. The indictment accuses Sergiacomi and three co-conspirators of causing damage to her North Providence home and claiming it was caused by a fictitious wind and rain storm in April 2010. Sergiacomi filed a false insurance claim for nearly $50,000.

The others charged in connection with the scheme are former North Providence councilmen John Zambarano and Robert Ricci as well as Vincent O. DiPaolo, an unlicensed public insurance adjuster who lives in Johnston. Zambarano had previously been charged as part of a broader corruption probe in North Providence.
