William Bryan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Infrastructure Security & Energy Restoration, for the US Department of Energy will visit Rhode Island tomorrow, according to Congressman David Cicilline.

Deputy Assistant Secretary Bryan will meet with Rhode Island officials to discuss their efforts to continue to restore power to Rhode Islanders in the wake of Hurricane Irene. Additional details regarding this visit will be released as they become available.

Bryan is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Security and Energy Restoration in the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE). The office of Infrastructure Security and Energy Restoration (ISER) works with the National Security Staff, other U.S. government agencies, and international partners to enhance the security and resiliency of critical energy infrastructure and facilitate the reconstruction and recovery of damaged or disrupted energy systems. Bryan oversees the collection, analysis, and dissemination of vital information to all involved in energy response and restoration efforts.
