UPDATED: Winter Storm Watch Issued, 4-8 Inches of Snow Possible in RI

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch starting Monday evening through Wednesday morning.
According to NWS, "Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph."
"Travel could be very difficult during the Tuesday evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage," NWS added. "Rain will change to snow Tuesday afternoon, but it is still uncertain as to how much snow will accumulate during the day, which will affect final storm totals."

Tuesday Night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 33. Windy, with a north wind 25 to 32 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Wednesday: Snow likely before 11am, then a chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Breezy, with a north wind around 24 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30. Blustery, with a north wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 13 to 15 mph.
