Man Goes on Rampage in Downtown Providence Smashing Windows and Threatening People With Machete

A man was arrested at the historic Arcade in Providence on Monday after smashing the windows of Paolino Properties -- the home of the U.S. Attorney and Providence Equity Group.
The exclusive GoLocal video shows a man throwing chairs through the windows at 100 Westminster Street.

Providence police tasered the man and took him into custody.
Providence Police have confirmed the incident.
The man arrested is Wilfred Catlin, age 33.
UPDATE: former Providence Mayor Joe Paolino, the head of Paolino Properties tells GoLocal he believes crime in Providence is "out of control" and he will be making a public announcement on Wednesday morning.
