Broesder served as manager of communications, policy and research for Kilmartin’s campaign. Prior to going into politics, he was a public affairs consultant for Hill & Knowlton and Ketchum, two Washington D.C. public relations firms that handle policy issues. Broesder graduated from Rhode Island College.

"Brett has a strong knowledge of the extensive issues that affect the safety and security of Rhode Island families," Kilmartin said. “The skill set he brings to the Attorney General’s Office will be essential in furthering our mission of protecting Rhode Island citizens.”

Miller joins the Kilmartin staff following a stint as manager of Consumer Information and Complaints Unit for the Office of Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.

“Tammy brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the office where she’ll help protect Rhode Island consumers,” Kilmartin said.  “Many of the issues she faced while working under Attorney General Goddard in Arizona impact hard-working Rhode Islanders and her outside perspective will be key as the office looks to update and strengthen our efforts in making the Ocean State safer and more secure.”
