Ghiorse: Monday Morning Storm Update
Monday, February 09, 2015
John Ghiorse, GoLocalProv Meteorologist
This storm continues to be more of a marathon than a sprint with certainly nowhere near the intensity of Juno. The snow will continue at a light to at times moderate pace through the day into tonight. Most of us can expect an additional 3" to as much as 6" before it's all over. Along coastal areas, where there has been some mixed precipitation, 2"-4" more are likely.
There is certainly no rest for the winter-weary as yet another storm appears likely for Thursday into Friday with the potential for more plowable snow. That should be followed by another blast of bitter Arctic. air over the weekend.
