Congressman Jim Langevin

Congressman Jim Langevin is accepting applications for nominations to the United States Military Academies. As a member of congress, Langevin has the ability to nominate constituents to the United States Military, Naval, Merchant Marine and United States Air Force Academy.

“As a senior member of both the House Armed Services and Homeland Security Committees, I believe that a strong national defense is a vital responsibility of our government, and a strong defense is dependent on the brave men and women who serve our nation with distinction. It is a great honor for me to nominate talented, hardworking young people to our distinguished military academies, and I look forward to reviewing this year’s group of worthy applicants," said Congressman Langevin.

Applicants must live in the second congressional district and must be between the ages of 17 and 23. All applicants will be reviewed and interviews will be conducted by Congressman Langevin along with a panel of community and military leaders.
