Canada Has Intelligence That Plane Was Shot Down by Iranian Missile, Says PM Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that Canada has intelligence saying that an Iranian surface-to-air missile was responsible for taking down the Ukraine International Airlines flight that killed 138 people heading to Canada.
“There have been important developments regarding the potential causes of this deadly crash. The news will come undoubtedly come as a further shock to the families who are already grieving in the face of this unspeakable tragedy. We have intelligence from multiple sources — including our allies and our own intelligence — the evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface to air missile,” said Trudeau.

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday afternoon that the U.S. now believes the plane was shot down by Iran.
According to USA TODAY, President Donald Trump only told reporters that “thought something very terrible happened, very devastating” — and that he “had his suspicions.”
