Providence police are investigating a report of a robbery at a gas station.
According to witnesses, the suspect threatened the cashier with a knife.

About Incident
At 9:30 Monday night, police responded to a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station at 598 Branch Avenue.
According to store employees, a man wearing all black was making a convenience store purchase when he demanded money from the register.
Police were told he threatened the cashier with a knife.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Detectives are currently investigating.
