UConn Student Sought in "Three-State Manhunt" After Killing, Home Invasion

A University of Connecticut senior accused of killing two men is being sought by authorities. 

On Monday, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Anthony Petroski Tweeted that 23-year-old UConn student Peter Manfredonia is an “armed and dangerous” suspect last seen Sunday in East Stroudsburg.

"Three-state manhunt ongoing for UConn student after killing, home invasion," according to CNN.

The New York Post reports

Manfredonia, a Newtown native, started his killing spree Friday morning in an attack on a dirt road in Willington, Connecticut, that left a 62-year-old dead and another man seriously injured, state police said.

He is also suspected in the killing of a 23-year-old man in the town of Derby, Conn., on Sunday.

Petroski Tweeted Monday shortly after noon on Monday:

"SUSPECT was last seen yesterday (Sunday) afternoon in East Stroudsburg, Monroe County, PA. Description:

White Male, 23 years old, dark colored shorts, white t-shirt & carrying a large duffel bag.  If seen, DO NOT APPROACH, ARMED & DANGEROUS 

CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!"
