“This Fight Isn’t Over” - Regunberg on PUC Approving National Grid Rate Hike

State Representative Aaron Regunberg, who had been opposed to National Grid's proposed rate hike, spoke out on GoLocal LIVE after the Public Utilities Commission approved the increase on Tuesday afternoon. Rate increases will range between 16 percent and 21 percent for the nearly 500,000 National Grid customers.

Regunberg spoke to a number of ways, legislatively, that he said the General Assembly could address the high cost of energy, including investing more in renewables, to make the state more self-sufficient -- and less dependent on out-of-state interests.
