RI Dentists Begin ‘Tooth Tour’ to Promote Children’s Dental Health Month on LIVE

Dr. John Kiang
Dr. Nick Paquin and Dr. John Kiang from Rhode Island Children’s Dentistry joined GoLocal LIVE’s Chelsea Guay to talk about the kick-off of National Children's Dental Health Month. For the month of February, the staff at RICD, along with their mascot, Pearl the Tooth, will be visiting local daycares and preschools throughout February, offering a fun and interactive experience where children can learn about what to expect during their first trip to the dentist, how many teeth they have, and foods that promote healthy teeth.

“Healthy dental habits start even before the first tooth erupts,” said Paquin. “Visiting your Pediatric Dentist early promotes healthy oral hygiene and prevents painful cavities in children. At RICD, we love getting out in the community and sharing this valuable knowledge in a fun and exciting way to help protect our community’s dental health. We’ve been doing this for years with much success and have no plans of stopping,” said Paquin.
