Day One’s Thomas Talks Sexual Assault Awareness on LIVE
Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Prevention Education Specialist Johnson Thomas at Day One, the agency in Rhode Island that is specifically organized to deal with issues of sexual assault as a community concern, spoke to his role with working with youth in the state — and supporting Sexual Assault Awareness Month during April — when he appeared on GoLocal LIVE.
Thomas, a Boston native, and Salve Regina graduate, talked about the upcoming Day One 5K taking place on May 12, and a “Dine Out” for Day One event in June — and how volunteers are always needed at the advocacy organization, which can be found here.
