Changing Career Paths: PC School of Continuing Education’s DuClos LIVE at 11 AM

Providence College School of Continuing Education (PCSCE) faculty member Lucas DuClos will appear on GoLocal LIVE at 11 a.m. on Thursday to discuss how to think about a career pivot during the pandemic. 

Making a job change can be scary, and often requires learning new knowledge and skills – maybe even going back to school, which itself can feel daunting or challenging for adults who haven’t played the role of student in quite some time.

DuClos, who teaches English, writing courses and academic success strategies, has made several pivots in his own career, from classroom teacher to EdTech entrepreneur, to curriculum designer and back to teaching.

At PCSCE, DuClos also teaches a course he designed himself, Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies, which serves as a foundational course to help adult students make a purposeful and successful pivot from where they’re at in their lives and careers to where they want to be.
