LIVE: Saul Kaplan Talks the Innovation of RI Government Tech

Saul Kaplan, Chief Catalyst at Business Innovation Factory, tells GoLocal LIVE that the UHIP project and future state technology projects should be rethought. Kaplan challenges why Rhode Island is still building overly complex projects rather than taking advantage of technology opportunities like cloud storage.

Kaplan also warns against being trapped by failure. "Let's stop beating ourselves up about stuff that's already happened, and let's start fixing it," said Kaplan.

Kaplan's annual BIF Summit attracts innovators, artists and business leaders to Rhode Island annually. The event was ranked #2 Most Innovative Conferences of 2016 by Inc. magazine.
