Wickford Art Association Launches 8th Annual Poetry & Art Project

The Wickford Art Association launched its 8th annual Poetry & Art project on Friday with a Call to Poets.
The Call to Poets asks for one to three original poems that are based on the theme of Transition.
Registration is from February 14 - April 1, 2020.
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTThee poems will be curated for inclusion in the September 25 - October 18, 2020, Poetry & Art Exhibit at the WAA Gallery and for the 2020 Poetry & Art limited-edition book.
All selected poets will incur a $45 registration fee and will receive a complimentary copy of the 2020 publication.

Poetry & Art
The 8th Annual Poetry & Art opening reception will be held Friday- September 25,(6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m.) on the grounds of WAA’s Gallery in North Kingstown.
The event will feature a live-read of all poems selected for the publication and exhibit, a private reception where poets and artists who create original works based on selected poetry will meet, the exhibit’s opening, and public reception to follow.
