True Blood’s Denis O’Hare Coming to RI Comic Con 2016

Rhode Island Comic Con has announced that Denis O'Hare, who plays the character of Russell Edgington on HBO's True Blood will be coming to this year's con. 

Rhode Island Comic Con 2016 is set for November 11 to the 13th at the Rhode Island Convention and Dunkin' Donuts Centers.

While he is known for his role on True Blood, O'Hare has also had roles in award winning plays like Take Me Out and Sweet Charity. 

O'Hare is also known for supporting roles in movies such as Charlie Wilson's War, Milk, Changeling, and Dallas Buyers Club. 

In 2011, he starred as Larry Harvey in the first season of the FX show American Horror Story for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a miniseries or a movie in 2012. 

O'Hare returned to American Horror Story in 2013 playing Spalding in American Horror Story: Coven and again as Stanley in American Horror Story: Freak Show. 

For his performance in American Horror Story: Hotel as Liz Taylor, O'Hare received universal critical acclaim. 

Comic Con Continues to Load up 

With the addition of O'Hare, Rhode Island Comic Con 2016 is continuing to load up.

In April, Comic Con announced that comic book legend Stan Lee would be coming and in February that Gotham's Robin Lord Taylor is coming. Comic Con announced that Jason David Frank, the original Green Ranger from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will be attending. 

Prior to that, Comic Con announced that Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is attending.

There are still more announcements to come.
