State House Holiday Concerts to Feature 2,600+ RI Kids

One of the hallmarks of the holidays in Rhode Island is the conversion of the State House from halls filled with political wheeling and dealing to a concert hall full of young voices bouncing off the historic marble. It's a month-long celebration, and this year's is the biggest yet, according to Randall Rosenbaum, Executive Director of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA).
"More than 2,600 student musicians from close to fifty schools throughout the state will perform at the Rhode Island State House," Rosenbaum said, in a special series of musical performances organized by RISCA which kick off December 1.
