Johnston's own DJ Pauly D is making big bucks for his spinning skills, but word has it that the Jersey Shore celeb wants to waive that fee for a reality star with an even higher megawattage--Kim Kardashian.
According to the ever-tuned-in Vulture blog of NY magazine, Pauly has leveraged his star-power to the point that gigs with 50 Cent and touring with Britney put his appearance fee at $40,000. But when reality super-princess Kim K. asked Pauly to do a set at Fashion's Night Out event for her NYC store, DASH, he offered to waive his fee as what? A wedding gift!
According to TMZ, the wellspring of celebrity gossip, Pauly wasn't even invited to the Kardashian wedding. But it's the thought that counts.
