What are the best values when it comes to New England's colleges and universities? Kiplinger's annual assessment of academic bang for the buck has just released its Public Colleges rankings, which combine with their Private College rankings to reveal where tuition dollars yield the most.

To get its rankings, Kiplinger uses what it calls "more-tangible measures of academic quality—including test scores and four-year graduation rates—as well as affordability." (For more on their methodology, go here.)

See which colleges in New England made the new public list of 100 top values, followed by the top values in private universities and liberal arts colleges.
