‘Game of Thrones’ Wins Outstanding Drama Series at 2019 Emmy Awards

HBO’s hit series ’Game of Thrones' won Outstanding Drama Series at 2019 Emmy Awards.
The series won 12 Emmys for its final season. It had received a record-breaking 32 nominations this year.
Peter Dinklage also won for outstanding supporting actor.

Before the ceremony, the cast was honored on stage for their work in the series. “As much as we wish the show could have gone on forever, our time had come. And tonight, is a chance to, once again, thank all of those who watched,” said Maisie Williams of ’Game of Thrones,' to People magazine.
'Games of Thrones' has won 260 Emmys and has been nominated for more than 700.
