Artistic Explosion Music Festival To Support Music Education
Tuesday, April 09, 2013
Rhode Island welcomes a new music festival that plans to rock the city and raise funds for two worthwhile music organizations.
The Artistic Explosion will feature a week-long lineup of some of Rhode Island’s finest local music, and it begins Monday, April 22 and runs every day through Saturday, April 27. All proceeds from performances will go to Girls Rock! and The Rhode Island Music Educators Association.
“To get this lineup of artists together for such a worthy cause is not only a coup for Girls Rock RI and the RI Music Educators Association, but it’s a major win for music lovers all over southern New England," said Rob Duguay, who is producing the festival. "This kind of extended musical lineup is one of those once-in-a-lifetime events that will be talked about for years to come.”
