The Bag: No need for your beauty regimen to have its own carry on. We fell in love with the Lug Clearview Train Case ($17, assorted colors, Beauty & the Bath,

Wickford, 294-3576) or assorted cosmetic bags by J. Garden and other designers ($30-$45, J. Marcel Shoes, Providence, 383-9777).

The Base: Pack a moisturizer that doubles as a sunscreen. You can keep your skin hydrated and protect it from sun damage whether you’re surfing, sunning or snorkeling. The Beauty:
Multitasking makeup is the way to go to keep your routine to only a few steps. For the face, use a mineral makeup like Physician’s Formula Organic Wear 100% Loose Powder ($14, drugstores) as a concealer and foundation. Lips and cheeks are a cinch with double duty cheek and lip stain Stainiac by the Balm ($17, The Apothecary Newport, 324-6253). Apply black liner and mascara to take the look from dunes to dinner.

The Body: Pack a scented moisturizing body wash to keep you feeling fresh morning to night. You’ll hit clean, moisture and scent in one easy step! Lather up with Thymes Goldleaf Body Wash ($21, Courtyards, Tiverton, 624-8682) or Dove Cream Oil Body Wash in assorted scents ($9, drugstores).

The Bouffant:
No need to pack bulky bottles of your fave hair products. Simply pack Blow to Go Travel Kit, which includes Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner, Protective Styling Mist and Blow Up Thickening Mist ($28, Gloss & Glamour, North Providence, 644-8808) or try dry shampoo like TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo ($5, drugstores) which works well to sop up oil and cleanse the hair and it takes seconds to use.

The Barnacles: Packing oils or balms is a great way to keep those hands and feet soft after hours of play. Rub a tiny bit of oil or balm into each cuticle on fingers and toes and also work into hands and feet for moisture. Pack Weleda Arnica Massage Oil ($20, Whole Foods) or Kiehl’s Imperial Body Balm ($42, Nordstrom at Providence Place Mall, 621-3111). Also great for elbows and knees!

Have safe and gorgeous summer travels!
