Bristol is not the only place for a great July 4th celebration. For many people, fireworks and barbecues are the most popular activities to participate in on July 4th.
Here are five places in the USA that have their own unique celebrations on the 4th of July.
1. Bar Harbor, Maine Attendees can place bets on lobster contenders and watch them crawl to the finish line.

3. Catalina Island, California
4. Seward, Alaska The race was founded in 1915 and spans 3,000 feet in elevation.
5. State College, Pennsylvania The Central PA 4th Fest, which officially began in 2001, features ax-throwing, BMX stunts and lumberjack competitions.

The City’s annual Independence Day Celebration will be held at India Point Park.
The event will feature family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a fireworks display.
This event is free and open to the public.
The celebration begins at 7 p.m.
