Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The 59th Annual Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade will be held, rain, snow, or shine, on Saturday, March 14th. It steps off at 11:00am from Newport City Hall and will proceed to Carroll Avenue at Saint Augustin’s Church in the heart of the Fifth Ward. The parade this year is estimated to last 2 hours and will include Pipe Bands, Marching Bands, Fife & Drum Corps, Clown Units, reenactment units, and a host of local, state, and regional organizations including police and fire units, social/fraternal organizations, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Schools, and non-profits.
Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade
Luckily, in New England, we stagger our St. Patrick's Day Parades so you don't have to miss any of the fun.
The Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off at noon at Smith St and Hilltop Ave and proceeds down Smith St. to the State House.
Federal Taphouse and Kitchen
The Federal Taphouse and Kitchen at 278 Atwells Ave in Providence is having a St Patrick's Day celebration on Tuesday, March 17, featuring $4.95 rubens and $9.99 corned beef dinners, along with live music from John Brazile from 4-7pm.
St. Pat's 5k
"Tour De Patrick"
The annual "St. Pat's 5k" will start at 11:00 a.m. on March 21, 2015 at the Rhode Island Statehouse before the Providence St Patrick's Day Parade kicks off at noon at Smith Street and Hilltop Ave.

Bravo Brasserie
Bravo Brasserie at 123 Empire St in Providence celebrates St. Patrick's Day this year starting at 11:30am, with specials including traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, corned beef reubens, and Irish desserts such as Bailey's Irish Cream Coffee and Irish chocoate cream cake.
Pendragon Uilleann Pipes and Irish Dance at the Jane Pickens Theater
Pendragon will be appearing at the Jane Pickens Theater on March 14 at 2pm, bringing their traditional Irish songs and dancing to Newport.
Pendragon is comprised of step dancer and percussionist Kevin Doyle, Bob Drouin on fiddle, bouzouki and tenor banjo; Russell Gusetti on guitar and concertina; Josh Kane on flute and whistles; and Mary Lee Partington on vocals and bodhran.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12, available HERE.
LepreCon: Providence St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
The first annual St. Patrick's Day "LepreCon" Bar Crawl kicks off at Whiskey Republic on Saturday, March 21, at noon. A $20 registration fee gets you a t-shirt, and your first drink free. Register HERE.
Post-Newport Parade Parties
There are two official post-parade parties in Newport this year on the 14th - the Hibernian Hall party will have corned beed sandwiches, Irish music, and a cash bar. Tickets are $20 and only available in advance at (401) 847-8671.
There is also a family-friendly alcohol free party at "The Hut" behind Newport Library - featuring a "How Green I Am" contest with cash prize, bagpipers, Irish step dancers, Tony the dancing cop, pirates, and refreshments. Admission is free!
McCormick and Schmick’s
McCormick and Schmick’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration takes place on March 17 from 6:30am-midnight. The Dorrance St. seafood eatery will feature Guinness battered fish and chips, Guinness steamed black mussels, corned beef sliders, and of course, the traditional corned beef and cabbage.
Iron Works Tavern
The Iron Works Tavern at 697 Jefferson Blvd in Warwick is opening at 11:30am on St Patrick's Day and features live music with Mike Colletta from 5-9pm. Irish drink specials will be offered all day, as well as corned beef dinner specials, Irish spring rolls, shepherd's pie, Dublin soup, and more.
