The projects pending cover the state — from Newport to Pawtucket and have significant implications for both the construction industry and the long-term future of Rhode Island’s economy.

Some of the projects have been pending for nearly three years and others are just being rolled out. Fane Tower, Hasbro's corporate headquarters and Carpionato's Newport Northend project are in flux.

"Today is an exciting first step towards a $400 million investment in Pawtucket’s future," said Governor Gina Raimondo. "This economic development project will establish a professional soccer team from a leading national league here in Rhode Island, revitalize the waterfront and downtown and create more than 3,500 jobs. Most importantly, it will transform this area into a vibrant hub of activity like we haven’t seen in decades."

We take a look at the range of projects, their estimated costs, and their present status.
