NEW: RI Gas Prices Continue to Drop

Rhode Island gas prices dropped for the fifth consecutive week, this time by a nickel, according to AAA Southern New England.
The average price of self-serve regular unleaded gas today is $3.82 per gallon, marking a 23-cent drop in the last four weeks. Despite the recent drop, the Rhode Island average is still 12 cents above the national average of $3.70. The state still has long way to go to hit last years state average, which was $2.74 at this time.
The latest survey shows a state range of 25 cents, from a low of $3.68 to a high of $3.93.
