Special Olympics Starts Holiday Auction on Sunday, December 7

The Special Olympics will hold their holiday auction beginning on Sunday, December 7 at 9 a.m. and ending on Sunday, December 14 at 10 p.m.
All proceeds from the auction benefit the year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for more than 3,000 children and adults with disabilities.
"It's a win, win, for everybody. It helps us to continue to provide more then 1600 sports training and athletic events per year for over 3,000 kids and adults with intellectual disabilities" said Gerri Walter, the Director of Marketing Communications at Special Olympics.

The shows will be hosted by NBC 10's Frank Carpano and former Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan.
Items that are available to bid on include jewelry, a get-away to New York City, golf packages, Red Sox packages, sports memorabilia and much more.
