NEW: Riley Concedes, Warns RI Headed for ‘Disaster’

In blistering, acid-laden comments, GOP Congressional candidate Mike Riley conceded his race to incumbent Jim Langevin, warning that the state of Rhode Island was headed for economic disaster.
“We are a canary in the coal mine and we are headed right down the chute,” Riley said.
It was the first time he had run and Riley said it would be his last.

Riley also blasted the local media for giving his campaign hardly any coverage, saying a terrible message had been sent to “great Americans” such as himself that they are not welcome in politics.
