NEW: Gas Prices Unchanged for First Time this Year

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are unchanged this week, the first time this year prices haven’t moved from one week to the next, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s March 12 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.80 per gallon, the same as last week. Prices locally are up 22 cents over the last month.
The current price is on target with the national average for regular unleaded of $3.80. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.56.
