MADD Set to Honor Two Providence Police Officers

Two Providence Police Officers were chosen to recognition by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Patrolman Michael Troia was chosen as Officer DUI Hero of the Year and Officer James Washburn was chosen as School Resource Officer of the Year.
Troia and Washburn will be presented the awards at MADD's Law Enforcement Recognition Breakfast on October 16th at 9 a.m. at Amica Insurance, building 100 in the amphitheater.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is the countries largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving, drugged driving and underage drinking. MADD also works to support victims and survivors of drunk or drugged driving.\
