NEW: Woonsocket’s Equipment Fails, Mayor Needs Private Plows

The City of Woonsocket's equipment is failing and calling for more private contractors.

According to Mayor Leo Fontaine, "Many City trucks and private contractors dealing with equipment failures due to conditions."

Call for help

The Mayor is calling for private contractors to contact the City to help fill the void.  

"If you or anyone you know has a truck with a plow and would be willing to help out, we could use extra contractors. Please call 265-5559."
