LIVE: Feinberg Talks About Celebrating the Oscars at Flicker’s Red Carpet Experience

As we gear up for the 2018 Academy Awards, Rhode Islanders will have multiple reasons to celebrate, with numerous nominees at this year’s ceremony having RI ties, and an opportunity the celebrate the Oscars like the stars do at the Flicker’s Red Carpet Experience event at The Providence Biltmore.

Executive Director of the RI Film & Television Office, Steven Feinberg, says the Red Carpet Experience will include a formal dinner, award ceremony, live music, swag bags, paparazzi, and of course, a red carpet.

At the event you can cheer on RI actor Richard Jenkins who is nominated for best-supporting actor for “The Shape of Water”, and the 7 different nominees that qualified at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, including short film “The Silent Child” and animated short “Garden Party."
