It's Food Truck Fridayt at Roger Williams Park Zoo at Carousel Village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Enjoy great food, live music and a beer garden tonight and every Friday until October 28. 

The event is free to attend, but there are nominal fees to ride the carousel, participate in pony rides, or to enjoy the bounce house.

Newport Folk Festival 

Newport Folk weekend is finally here. This year, the Festival welcomes dozens of top acts including Patti Smith, Ray LaMontagne, Norah Jones and Elvis Costello. Music begins at 11AM at Ft. Adams State Park starting today with over 50 artists scheduled. Wear some sunscreen, be patient in traffic and respect thy neighbor.
