Mavis Staples and Joan Osborne’s “Solid Soul” Tour

Catch musical legends Mavis Staples and Joan Osborne at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium on Sunday. Staples is a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner and one of Rolling Stone's "Greatest 100 Singer of All Time" while Osborne is a multi-platinum selling recording artist and seven-time Grammy nominee.

"Light the Night" Providence College's 3rd Annual Alzheimer's Awareness Walk

"Light The Night" seeks to raise awareness about the need for early identification of persons with Alzheimer’s and also raise much-needed funds for research. All proceeds from the walk will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, Rhode Island Chapter.

The walk will be held at Ray Treacy Track, located at 1 Cunningham Square in Providence.
