The grades are in -- GoLocalProv will release its sixth Annual Top High Schools 2015 on Monday, December 21.

Based on a proprietary ranking that crunches hundreds of pieces of data from Rhode Island's public, charter, and technical schools, the findings reveal how well our communities' schools are providing for their students.

Academic success is a critical element of a community's civic pride, and this quantitative look of each school provides the only comprehensive view of secondary education in the state.

How It's Done

GoLocal employs a formula developed at Babson College to assess and weight each school's latest NECAP and SAT scores, plus per pupil funding, student-teacher ratios, and graduation rates.  On Monday, see profiles of every public, charter and technical school in the state, along with a chart of each school's data, including test scores.

Schools -- and their success -- are a primary subject of discussion and debate in the state, with sports teams, student stars, and college acceptances just some of the cornerstones of conversation surrounding them.

So whether it's debate teams, athletic championships, or theater programs, everyone has their loyalties, and will defend their school against all others.  GoLocal's Top High Schools, year in, year out, is the most talked-about ranking in Rhode Island.

Mark your calendar and see how your school fared in this year's rankings -- check out GoLocal's top story this Monday.
