A Peek At The Week Ahead

As the Vernal Equinox approaches on March 20th the big question always is, “ When is glorious, mild spring weather going to arrive?” The answer to that question this year is, “Not soon.” Oh, we might have a couple of days here and there but frankly the weather pattern we have now just screams, “More of the same!” In fact it may dip back onto the colder side during in the next couple of weeks.

This week we should see a continuation of the storm track we’ve had for the last 4 or 5 weeks with the next rainmaker moving in on Wednesday and departing by early Thursday. Monday and Tuesday should feature lots of clouds with random sunshine and high temps in the low 40s. Breaking clouds Thursday will allow readings to reach into the 50s and perhaps the 60s on Friday as clouds increase again with a chance of showers later Friday or Friday night. That should set us up for another decent cool but rain-free weekend.

The Ghiorse Factor will be around a 6 Monday and a 7 Tuesday, dips to a 3 on Wednesday and climbs again to a 7 by Thursday afternoon. Friday’s Factor at an 8 early will fall to a 4 by evening and then kick up to the 7-8 range for the weekend.
