A Peek At The Week Ahead

The cold air will begin to filter into the area later Monday and become well entrenched from Tuesday through the end of the week. Look for a chance of a few scattered snow showers in the area especially Tuesday and Wednesday along with a strong, biting wind. Wednesday through Friday should be dry with no precipitation. Highs will hover within a few degrees of freezing or below each day and nighttime lows will be in the teens and single numbers.
Next weekend promises to be an interesting one as some long-range models are hinting at another potential storm. This one, if it does develop, is likely to be a coastal storm and thus a greater chance of producing snow than the storm this past weekend.
