Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin in Critical Condition After Suffering Cardiac Arrest During Game

The Monday night NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was suspended after Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field in the first quarter.
"Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals," the Bills tweeted early Tuesday. "His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition."
At 5:58 into the game, Bengals Wide Receiver Tee Higgins had caught a pass from Joe Burrow and was tacked by Hamlin, ho stood up immediately but then fell to the ground.

Hamlin's marketing representative Jordan Rooney Tweeted late Monday that his "vitals are back to normal," but he's been put on a breathing tube in the hospital and was undergoing tests.
The game was suspended indefinitely.
