Bryant Falls to Long Island 74-60 for 4th Straight Loss

Bryant has now lost four straight and five of their last six games.
For the second straight game, Bryant was le by senior Juan Cardenas, who scored 15 points.

Bryant Falls to LIU
After falling behind 10-1 early in the first half, Bryant went on a 16-2 run to take a 17-12 lead on a Nathaniel Stokes three with 12:13 left in the opening frame.
The teams would trade leads for the majority of the half when Bryant would grab a 29-26 lead with 3:39 to play in the half on a jumper from Michael Green III.
The Bulldogs would then lead 31-28 with 2:34 left on a Cardenas jumper before LIU took over.
The Sharks closed the half on a 9-0 run to take a 27-31 lead into the break.
To start the second half, Bryant made just one of its first 14 field goals as Long Island built a 49-35 lead with 9:32 left to play.
The Bulldogs would battle back to within four, 62-58, on a jumper from Ikenna Ndugba with 3:22 left to play in the game.
Bryant had chances to cut the lead even further, but Benson Lin missed a layup and then missed a three.
LIU would then score four straight points to take a 66-58 lead with just over a minute to play in the game.
Bryant wouldn’t get closer than six the rest of the way.
Ndugba, Lin and Charles Pride all had ten points for Bryant.

Bryant returns to action on Thursday, January 23 when they host Wagner at the Chace Athletic Center.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
