Bryant Beats Wagner 79-58 to Snap 4-Game Losing Streak

The Bryant Bulldogs men’s basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak on Thursday night, beating the Wagner Seahawks 79-58 at the Chace Athletic Center on Bryant’s Campus.

Bryant was led by Adam Grant, who poured in 21 points in the game.

The win improves Bryant to 10—9 overall and 2-4 in the NEC.

Wagner falls to 5-13 overall and 2-5 in the NEC. 

Bryant Wins

After leading by three, 26-23, at the half, Bryant would open the second half with a four-point play by Benson Lin and a three by Grant to take a 33-25 lead in the opening minutes.

The Bulldogs would push their lead to 43-29 on threes from Grant and Mikail Simmons with 25:03 to play in the game.

Wagner would not threaten the rest of the way.

Bryant shot 49.1 percent – its highest mark against a Division I opponent this season – and was 12-for-30 (40.0%) from three.

Bryant visits Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday evening.

Game time is set for 5 p.m.
