Brown to Host CBI Tournament Game Weds Against UAB

Brown University who had a record-tying 19 wins this season will make its sixth postseason appearance will host a CBI tournament game against UAB on Wednesday.
The first round game will be played at Brown's Pizzitola Sports Center starting at 7:00 pm.
Brown coach Mike Martin will appear on GoLocal LIVE on Wednesday at 1:00 PM to preview the game.

The Blazers: UAB posted a 20-14 overall record and finished sixth in Conference USA with a 10-8 league mark, falling to eventual champion Old Dominion in the conference semifinals. The Blazers ranked fourth in the conference in scoring defense (67.3 ppg) and are led by Zack Bryant, who averaged 14.9 points, and Lewis Sullivan, who averaged 6.8 rebounds per game and is the only player to start all 34 games.
Brown in the CBI: The Bears will be making their second appearance in the CBI, having previously played at Ohio University on 3/18/08, an 80-74 loss in Athens, Ohio. Damon Huffman '09 knocked down a Brown and CBI record nine treys in the game.
Bears in the Postseason: The Bears played in the NCAA Tournament in 1939 and 1986, the NIT in 2003, the CBI in 2008 and the CIT in 2014.
