Brad Dean to Run for Mayor of Cumberland

Brad Dean, a lifelong Cumberland resident and business leader, will be announcing his run for mayor on Tuesday night.

Dean and his family have built one of the most successful logistics companies in New England — Dean Warehouse. 

According to Dean, he has worked there for much of his life, "acquiring extensive knowledge of the warehousing, logistics, and transportation business." Dean serves as a member of the State of Rhode Island’s Worker Compensation Board.

He is a graduate of the International Warehouse Logistics Association at Ohio State University. He earned an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT.

He has been deeply involved with youth sports in Cumberland.

According to the announcement, “Friends of Brad Dean [are] excited to host the campaign launch event for Brad Dean as he begins his run for Mayor of Cumberland."

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 at 6:00 PM at Phantom Farms Brewing located at 30 Martin Street in Cumberland. 

Dean will face incumbent Jeff Mutter.
