Zhou Weng, M.D., of Pawtucket, Dies at 93

Zhou Weng, M.D., 93 of Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

He was the beloved husband of the late Li-Li Lin, who died on August 12, 2021.

Born in China, a son of the late Huilan Weng and Lin Shu Yuan, he moved to the United States in 1992, settling in Pawtucket.

Dr. Weng was a general surgeon in China before retiring. He was a member of the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island.

He is survived by two daughters, Liya Beaujean of New York, and Kathy Zheng of Tiverton; two sons, Bin Weng of Barrington and John Weng of New York; four sisters, Xiu Zhen Weng, Ying Weng, Yuan Weng, and Bing Weng; two brothers, Huan Weng and He Weng; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island, 333 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket.

Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
