US Marine Reserves Veteran, Edward P. Crowe, Dies at 78

Edward P. Crowe, 78, passed away December 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Pauline T. (Marsella) Crowe.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Pauline V. (Aceto) Crowe.

Edward was a sales manager most of his life prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Marine Reserves, was an active member of The Knights of Columbus Dillon Council, and was an avid N.E. Sports fan and a long-time Patriots enthusiast.

He was loved by all who knew him and leaves behind many close family members and friends.

He was the loving father of Edward P. Crowe, Jr. and his wife Janice, Leslie A. Giardino and Anthony J. Crowe and his wife Sharon and cherished grandfather of Anthony, Andrew and Alyssa. He was also the adored brother of Sharon M. Balay and her husband Paul.

His visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 9:30 am in the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
