Thomas E. Wagner Dies at 70

Thomas E. Wagner, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Cynthia (Letourneau) Wagner. They have been married for the past 27 years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Jane (Wildenhain) Browney of East Providence and the late Edward Wagner. Thomas resided in Blackstone for the past 27 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

|Tom was a gun enthusiast and a member of NIPMUC Rod and Gun Club, of Upton, MA., and a member of the Lafayette Club, Woonsocket. He also had a passion for reading and was known to always have a book in his hands. He also loved to travel with his beloved wife. But most of all Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and adored his three grandchildren.

He was a letter carrier of the US Postal Service for more than 35 years until his retirement in 2015.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his four children; Scott Wagner of New London, CT.; Todd Ferguson and his wife Rochelle of Beaufort, SC.; Lorrie Billington and her husband Tom of Warwick; and Timothy Wagner and his wife Nicole of Upton, MA. His three grandchildren; Caley Lefrancois; Chance Cloutier; and Ruby Wagner. His several brothers and sisters including his closest; Janice Medeiros; Donna Wagner; Donald Browney; James Wagner; Karen Baldwin; and Judy Lorman, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also the former husband of the late Loretta Wagner.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Tom's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on December 12, 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm and will continue on Monday, December 13, 2021 with a Prayer Service at 10 am in the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland.

Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
