Theresa Satti (Riel), 92, formally of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on September 4, 2021.

Born on August 6, 1929, in Pawtucket, RI, she is predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Gino Satti her parents Arthur and Amandine (Gaudette) Riel, her brother Gerald Riel and sisters Lucielle Terrien and Edna Randall.  She was the loving wife of the late Gino Satti for sixty-eight years.  She is survived by her two daughters, Gail Coulter and her husband Mark and Maria Salvatore, and her four grandchildren, Brendon Daley, Erin Daley, James Salvatore, and Logan Salvatore.  Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers: Joseph (Art) Riel and his wife Irene, Raymond Riel and his wife Margie, George Riel and his wife Dolores, and Armand (Sonny) Riel and his wife Marie.  Many nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers are also left to treasure her memory.

Terry, as everyone knew her, was full of life with a great love for her family and friends.  Her smile lit up the room and her laugh was infectious.  She cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren when they were young.  Walks to Slater Park to feed the ducks and playing hide and seek in the house were fond moments with Grandma.  She loved the road trips that she and Gene took to Pennsylvania, Florida, Branson, Saratoga, and up north.  On beautiful summer days, Terry enjoyed taking her daughters to Scarborough Beach and riding the waves.  Her zest for fun and excitement brought her to the slots at Foxwoods and the Showboat where she spent countless hours with her sister Edna and her friend Janie.  She never missed the Sunday card games at her sister Lucielle’s house.  Above all, Terry was always active and never liked to be idle.  She enjoyed living life to the fullest and never hesitated to be herself with everyone.

Terry was a teacher’s assistant in the Pawtucket school system where she worked at the Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School and Tolman High School.  Her proudest moment was when she received the teacher of the year award at Baldwin School.  She treasured that honor very much.  Prior to being a teacher’s assistant, she was the evening store credit supervisor at Apex Department Store in Pawtucket for eleven years.  She sold Avon for a while which gave her an opportunity to be out walking which she greatly enjoyed.

She will always be remembered as a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Terry believed that the simple things in life such as family, friends, laughter, and love were far more important than material riches.  She has left her mark on the hearts of many people.
