Teacher Robert F. Proulx of West Warwick Dies at 53

Robert F. Proulx, 53, of West Warwick passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick.
He was born in Warwick on January 8, 1969, a son of Roland A. Proulx, Sr. of West Warwick and the late Elizabeth M. (Pinto) Proulx.
Bob was a school teacher in the English department at the West Warwick High School and also taught at the Saint Cecilia's Catholic School in Pawtucket. He was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick and then attended Rhode Island College and also Providence College. He was a past choir member at Saint Timothy Church in Warwick and also taught C.C.D. Classes in the parish school. He loved children and animals and enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Besides his father, he leaves two brothers, Roland A. Proulx, Jr. and wife, Pamela of West Warwick and Christopher Proulx and wife, Annette of Exeter, Maine. He was the nephew of Roger and Nancy Proulx of Massachusetts and was an uncle himself to Roland Proulx, III and wife, Elizabeth and son, Matthew, Marissa Proulx, Nicholas Proulx, and Zachary Proulx. He also leaves many cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 60 Pleasant Street, West Warwick. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick.
